Dr. Omid Aghababaei Tafreshi
Co-Founder
Omid as a co-founder of AeroMater Innovations obtained his MSc from Concordia University and PhD from University of Toronto in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In collaboration with University of Toronto Early Stage Technology (UTEST), he is currently leading the AeroMater Innovations, an advanced materials startup revolutionizing thermal management solutions for industries.

Dr. Shahriar Ghaffari-Mosanenzadeh
Co-Founder
Shahriar completed his BSc at Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Also, he received his MASc and Ph.D., degrees from the University of Toronto, Canada. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Toronto, Canada.


Prof. Zia Saadatnia
Dr. Zia Saadatnia as an advisor of AeroMater Innovations received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Ontario Tech University. Prior to that, he served as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Toronto Smart Materials and Structures Laboratory at the University of Toronto jointly with the KITE-UHN.

Prof. Hani Naguib
Prof. Hani Naguib as an advisor of AeroMater Innovations is a Professor at the University of Toronto, and director of the Toronto Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. His major expertise is in the area of manufacturing of programmable materials including stimuli responsive materials, meta materials, and nanostructured materials. His research group focus on the development of new synthesis, micro and nanofabrication, and additive manufacturing techniques for developing these material systems. Naguib is the recipient of many honours and awards such as the Canada Research Chair, the Premier's Early Research Award of Ontario, and the faculty Early Teaching Award. He is a Professional Engineer in Canada, a Chartered Engineer in U.K.
